Many people live longer\, with more chronic disease and disability. Hospitals and doctors shift care into the home\, expecting family members to perform medical tasks with little training or support — an invisible health care workforce that forgoes $30 billion in wages each year. \nIncreasingly\, that includes men and younger generations.
