Discovering my father features the personal journey of a daughter navigating the best possible care for her father.
In this episode of Keeping it REAL Caregiving On-Air, meet family caregiver Rowena Branch who is now tasked with providing care for her elderly father. The challenge ahead involves finding a safe living facility and moving her father, Alex, across the country despite already being elderly, frail and ill.
We learn from Rowena the events which have lead to this moment and along the way the time spent, as she calls it, discovering my father. She shares her suggestions for steps other caregivers can and should take as they take on the role of caring for a loved one.
