Hello KIRC family!

Open the paper, turn on the news, or scroll through your social media posts, and you will likely come across articles pointing to a dismal job market and few opportunities. The California Department of Aging has an open position for Staff Services Manager I (Specialist), Diversity & Inclusion Program Manager in the Office of Equity.

Job Description and Duties

The Position is headquartered in Sacramento however, remote centered telework may be optional throughout the State of California.

This position supports the California Department of Aging’s (CDA) mission to transform aging for individuals, families, and communities by leading innovative programs, planning, policies, and partnerships that increase choices, equity, and well-being for all Californians as we age. 

Under the general direction of the Equity Officer, a C.E.A. A, in the Division of Policy, Research & Equity, Office of Equity, the Staff Services Manager I (Specialist), serves as a highly skilled, independent program consultant providing subject matter expertise in equity-related projects, programs, and policy embedding racial and social justice content and frameworks into operational structures and collective action from an intersectional lens.
